11:00 pm
that is all the time we have left. start your day each weekday morning with fox and friends. see you back here tomorrow night. 'll see you back here, tomorrow night. just got worse. new information tonight and here is a hint, zero on one exchange. can president obama bail himself out of this mess? hit critics are -- his critics are on fire giant who committed the greater fraud? bernie may doff or barack obama? madoff defrauded a few. this is defrauding the entire country. >> he needs to stand up in front of the american people and say i perpetrated a fraud. >> he totally lied. he therefore got his obamacare passed. had congress known this even the democrats would have voted against him jie. i want to -- >> i want to know why we were promised one thing and got
11:01 pm
another. it is a train wreck. >> anybody who has run anything in their lives can see this a mile away. i have never seen anything as poorly run and incompetent. >> the president of the united states lied to the entire country on the most important thing. the health care and their current plan. >> it is a significant distortion to say that hundreds of thousands of people are being canceled. what is actually happening is they are likely going to get a better plan for less money. >> the fact is that the president didn't tell the truth. it turns out not to be true. people keep their insurance policies. >> allen west joins us. good evening, sir. >> good evening, greta. it is a pleasure to be with you. >> from all of those sound bites it sounds like the critics are really going heavy handed. i am -- heavy handed on calling him a liar. >> i believe the president did purposely deceive the american people in order for his signature of policy.
11:02 pm
and now we can see truth come to power in the fact that this thing is -- you noy we talked about it before. it is based upon some false premises, and it is not going to be able to sustain itself and it is not ready to be rolled out. the fact you are having so many manners being forced off their private insurance plans to get them to go to these exchanges which are not being el well run and orchestrated, this is a calamity. joy in putting together -- >> in putting together the opening we looked to see if democrats supported the president. it is a holiday in washington today, but we can't even find -- the democrats are silent about what is going on with the exception of debbie wasserman schulz. in light of where we are on this law now, what in the world can the president do to bail himself out and bail the american people out so that those who are harmed are not harmed by it? >> first of all you did see 15
11:03 pm
democratic senators have an impromptu meeting with the president for two hours. basically they called it a crisis in competence. i think right now the president has to take a page from hillary clinton and hit the reset button and go back to the start and say okay, look, this thing is not ready for prime time. let's scrap this. let's start having some bipartisan ship and let's sit down and talk about free market solutions. let's solve the crisis of 4.2 million americans who have lost their private insurance plans. let's see how we can work with the insurance industry and get those things back. >> do you think he will do that or can do that? this is his signature accomplishment. he is very proud of it as president of the united states. the navy seals getting osama bin laden -- it is not like that wasn't huge as well, but he was adamant he was standing behind. do you think he has it in himself to say, look, it is
11:04 pm
not working for a lot of americans. let's put it on hold and see if we can fix it? >> well, the short answer is no. i believe his errogance precludes him from doing that and admitted she wrong and took the wrong approach. we tried to have a government centric health care solution to the problems we see. and the american health care reform act that the republican committee has brought forth, dr. tom price, the republican from georgia has come forward. he is an orthopedic surgeon and so i think the president should listen to him. >> i will tell what you is disturbing about the law. democrats are upset. republicans were always upset, but democrats are upset because the advice tax. they are upset about it. they are upset about individual policies of their constituents that have been canceled since they don't meet the full requirements of obamacare requirements. and they are upset about the website not working. with the exception of the
11:05 pm
website not working -- and of course they are upset over funding too. with the exception of the website not working these problems were evident from day one, but not one of them bothered to read the bill or fully understand it. they signed off on it. i don't have a lot of sympathy. they should have known about these things they spent time looking at the bill. >> debbie wasserman schulz said they are upset because of politics and not policy. republicans are upset because it is bad policy, but the democrats are concerned about what this will do for them. all of those members of the house and those senators up for re-election in 2014, that's the care and concern they have that this thing was going better and they would be all behind it. now they are somewhat like the rats on the titanic seeking to jump off to save their own self-interest.
11:06 pm
>> there was bill -- she is a democrat in the senate where even if it was passed it is absurd. it couldn't possibly work. what she wants is something you can't do. you can't order insurance companies to do what she wants. >> that's her trying to show some type of care and concern. >> she is in trouble. >> absolutely. it is not her caring about policies, just about politics. >> guardian of the republican, new book coming out by you and hitting the shelfs in april. does that mean that a lot of times people write books to give us notice they are running for office again. >> well, it is not so much about running for office again. i will continue to serve this country and that's why i say happy veterans day to my brothers and sisters out there. we took an oath to defend and guard the constitution. we are guardians of this great republic. i want to talk about the early lessons of my life and the lessons of my parents and my philosophy and what i see as
11:07 pm
far as a vision and a way ahead to get us out of this crisis and restore the great republic to the greatness it can be and should be. i think it is so important that we have folks that will layout a strategic plan and blueprint for that to occur. the american people call me back to serve i will be happy to do it. >> happy veterans day because you are a vet. and to those watching we are going to talk about veterans day. congressman, thank you, sir. >> thank you. it is an honor to serve. take care, greta. viewers, if you know someone sick it can be really scary for them with this obamacare uncertainty. the very people who are supposed to get the most help could be in the biggest trouble. mary fallin is here next.
11:08 pm
11:09 pm
11:10 pm
time is running out for those who need healthut f insurance the most. in many states seriously ill patients are in danger of losing the coverage they have. and it gets worse and scare yes, sir in that they may notit, be able to enroll for new obamacare plans in time. oklahoma is one of those n states. governor mary fallin joins us. hi, governor. gov >> hi, greta.h r >> people in the high risk pool are one thing, but what is going on in oklahoma?
11:11 pm
what is this risk? >> we are worried about those people because they are theey a ones who are the sickest, the s ones who need health insurance coverage the most and the ones who may have cancer, leukemia, diabetes, heart problems and they are in our risk pool as they are in many other states, but as we know the health exchanges haven't they aree way supposed to work. so at the end of this year, december 31st, we have over 850 oklahoma ans in that risk pool. they are at risk of losing their insurance, and they are the ones who need the health insurance coverage the worst because they are the sickest. >> so what are we going to do? what are you going to do? what is the president going to do? i don't know, but something needs to be done, and the administration needs to do something about this particular issue. come december 31st, they's a may not have any coverage at all. it is a federal issue and a lot of people in congress are saying we should delay the implementation of the obame law just because there are so many
11:12 pm
glitches. coming up, but it is a federal issue affecting our states.s >> isn't it more catastrophic than that? they are losing their insurance and they have had cancellations and they have to get back to obamacare and the high risk, am i right? >> you are right and they can't. >> so here is the problem. if they have had their policies canceled, they are very sick. they are in the high risk. they are up against a deadline. they can't get the insurance.ac. we are really squeezing theseque people. p >> that's right. it is thee pe people who don't need to beo be squeezed because they are already ill and needing health care coverage right now and it r is an unfortunatece c circumstance. my hope is the administrationit will do's something about this. >> what?e >> i want them to delay the
11:13 pm
implementation. >> even if they delay thehem implementation, a lot of them the gotten out of policies to begin with. you know the old policy we president want you to sell it to a person who is high risk and they don't want those people. they don't want the high risk ones. >> that's exactly right. that's why the health care law has been such a mess. the president promised these people if they liked theirif health insurance and they can keep their doctor and their th premiums would go down. all of those things haven't worked out. >> one other note and there is e good news. the feeding oklahoma food drive. g your goal was 1.4 million a meals and according to -- i was doing a lot of research on you and on your program, but the state of oklahoma and your
11:14 pm
feeding oklahoma food drive2.9ho millionma meals to feed oklahoma. >> thank you, yes it was.kn this was a very challenging time when you go to thanksgiving and the holiday season and christmastime and people want to be with their family. this is my fourth year to do a feeding oklahoma food drive and it is one of the ways i can give back and i am thrilled with the results. dif there are foundations andcomp organizations and people whozati donated food.ion 2.9 million meals is a lot ofthn meals. >> it is indeed a lot of meals. a lot of students are around a the country and want to help people all the time and not just at the time of theknow holidays. i know you were hit badly with the tornado. i thought i would give uh shout out for that. >> thank you, yong i appreciate it. >> and president obama is making another promise to the
11:15 pm
american people saying he will helpng fix the problem with the canceled insurance. kee >> what in the world will he do? how can he keep the promise in light of where we are. that's next.

president obama is now insisting his administration will do everything it can to herb americans with canceledk ab -- to help americans with canceled insurance plans. think about it. like what? do they have options to fix this mess? i believe a president wouldons? want to fix this, but what?w. and there is problem. the fix can't do it. tho
11:21 pm
those plans are gone. you actually they'd a law to fix this. if you had a plan that the insurance company dumped say for d the high risk approval iik talked with. first of all the government cannot changing the lawsin order to the insurance company to put that back in the fact. secondly the insurance company will not voluntarily do that vol because they don't want to putg the plan on the table that some high risk person will be with the high risk. >> furthermore there are millions of people who haven'tpe had their plans canceled. if you pass a law like ron johnson's bill to issue these new plans and gave them the option they would have a lote of insurers who would want to continue to sell these policies.ie >> i don't buy it.t i tell you, i think theranc insurance companies were happy to get out of a lot of these policies.
11:22 pm
happy to get out of them.e on the ones whenner they have to pay out more medical bills. >> they are regulated at the state level, but they are notin doing it for charity. that's the real issue.have you would need the stateom commissionersmi.me i would say that at the state level action.st you have to have the statesrdin take extraordinary measures and pass laws there and let them waive these regulations and then they have the question whether the insurers have the time to reconfigure the insurers and give thesed people time to figure outdo i want to have them on the plan? it is a huge mess for the millions of people losing their plan on january 1st. it is a complete disaster. >> they are losing on january 1st. what you areri describing will take a year, two years, three years to do, right? >> it would take months, i don't think years. there are people that will lose their plans, february all
11:23 pm
the way through december of next year. you can renew your plan and for some people there is hope if you pass this law. >> i will tell you there is people little hope for, the people canceled and they areled in the middle of a regimen ofheo a program.nari they will have to wait months. >> it is looking like a disaster. there is nodi way to spin that. >> and you know what even senator mary landrews billsura will offer current individual plans. that is one of the silliest to things i have ever heard. and it is the states that regulateth it and not the federal. in what in the world she f introduced that for is beyond me. >> i spoke with senator ronn johnson and his plan would allow people -- >> allow. >> yes. he says i don't want to mislead anyone and say, oh,ca they can turn onn a dime and reissue these plans.ja
11:24 pm
for a lot of people that's not going to happen.ing what he is trying to do is give them the chance. you might as well try, at least try. >> and insurance companies areut in business. they are not charities. thank you. >> thank you.they >> and coming up, a doctor who is not only losing a plan, but more.
